This Space Is Not for Everyone And That’s Okay
Even though I’ve been writing The Path to Pleasure for some time now, I thought it would be good to pause and offer a clearer sense of what this space is about and why I continue to create it.
The Path to Pleasure is my space for exploring desire, sensuality, hedonism, intimacy, freedom, beauty, eros, and the pursuit of a more fully lived life. It is where I share reflections, stories, cultural commentary, and thoughts on the emotional, erotic, and philosophical dimensions of pleasure.
I believe pleasure matters deeply. In a world increasingly shaped by fear, shame, loneliness, judgment, and moral rigidity, choosing joy, desire, openness, sensuality, and honestly pursuing pleasure can feel almost radical.
This Substack is my way of pushing against that atmosphere and creating a space for those who feel drawn toward living more intensely, more truthfully, and more connected to themselves and others.
Some of what I write may include mature themes, sexuality, eroticism, provocative ideas, and explorations of personal freedom intended for adult readers (18+). Certain articles may challenge social expectations around sex, relationships, desire, identity, pleasure, or the ways we are taught to suppress parts of ourselves.
At the same time, I fully understand this space will not resonate with everyone, nor should it have to. If these ideas, themes, or perspectives do not speak to you, I simply ask that you pass by with kindness and allow others the same freedom to explore what speaks to them.
Not every path is meant for every person. There is enough room in the world for different values, different comforts, different curiosities, and different ways of living.
For those who do feel something here, welcome. I am grateful to share this small corner of pleasure, imagination, curiosity, and indulgence with you.
